Lindsay Campbell

BIOG

Lindsay Campbell, 26, is one of the hottest young stars in the fashion world after she burst onto the scene in 2006 as a freelance fashion stylist.

In the last two years Lindsay has travelled all over the world, armed with the most sought-after designer clothes, working with some of the country’s finest fashion photographers, make up artists, hair stylists and models, as well as with a selection of celebrities including Amanda Lamb, Lorraine Kelly, Andie MacDowell and her two daughters and twice NFL Super Bowl champion Damien Woody.

From her business based out of both London and Edinburgh, Lindsay pulls together product and talent for striking fashion shoots commissioned by Scottish and UK wide publications such as Vogue.com, OK!, The Daily Record, Mail on Sunday, Spectrum Magazine, Hello Magazine, The Saturday Herald and Fabulous magazine to name but a few.

Lindsay has also been making waves with corporate clients, bringing her creative vision to campaigns for the likes of Ortak, Schuh, Red Bull, Andrex, all Land Securities shopping malls, Boudiche Lingerie and the Scottish Executive (now the Scottish Government).

In 2008 Lindsay started to work with shopping malls Buchanan Galleries and The Centre in producing campaigns and monthly photoshoots. 2009 saw that contract increase to all 16 malls UK wide for campaigns, television, monthly shoots and Top Tips for magazine and web.

Lindsay is also writing for papers such as Spectrum and is now the official fashion expert at The Pulse. Along with writing for stormstyle.com and fashion156.com Lindsay provides top tips and fashion advice and quote for papers like The Scotsman and The Sunday Mail.

In March 2009, Lindsay travelled to NYC to style for Dressed to Kilt bringing designers like House of Holland, Bebaroque, Olanic and Jamie Tetsill to the event and working with heiresses, actors and sports stars. Which gained her recognition in the US and an interview featured on televisions NY1.

In June 2008, Lindsay was the official stylist for the Scottish Fashion Awards, creating runway shows for the event, and showcasing the work of some of Scotland’s most impressive fashion talent such as Christopher Kane, Jonathan Saunders, Graeme Armour and Aimee McWilliams.

It was in autumn 2006 when Lindsay decided to pursue her dream job as a freelance stylist after racking up experience as a UK visual merchandiser and product developer with Top Shop and her subsequent role at top advertising agency, The Union. The experience gained in both roles - installing and designing the fashion windows in Topshop stores throughout the country and directing some of the country’s leading advertising campaigns - gave her the inspiration to embark on her own.

Whilst studying towards a BA in Fine Art from Edinburgh College of Art, Lindsay also completed a course in Fashion Styling for the Media at the London College of Fashion. After graduating from Edinburgh College of Art in 2005, Lindsay coupled the creativity that she developed during her fine art studies with her fashion training from the London College of Fashion, and embarked on the culmination of her career to date - making her mark as one of the freshest young fashion talents in the UK.
